The Margate Mothers Association deserves a hearty round of applause for its work ensuring thousands of spectators enjoyed a spectacular 4th of July fireworks display.
The association has been putting on the fireworks display for years. It raises all the funds needed for the pyrotecnic show, which was set off on the beach at Huntington Avenue.
Spectators gathered on every inch of beach available from Longport to the Ventnor Fishing Pier to watch the spectacle.
