MARGATE - Families with children with special needs are invited to participate in The Heart of Surfing event being held Saturday, July 20 in Margate.
Members of the Margate and Longport Fire Departments and Beach Patrols will assist children in the water.
The event will be held 9 a.m. to noon on the beach at Coolidge Avenue.
The event is free for families with autism and other developmental disabilities.
