The Margate Department of Public Works is holding an open house 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, July 24 at the Public Works Yard, 101 N. Benson Ave.
Children and their families are invited to attend the hands-on event and explore the adult versions of Tonka trucks, including earth movers, backhoes and streetsweepers. Tours of the water tower and a demonstration about how to protect the city’s drinking water will be presented by the NJ Water Association.
The free family event includes activities, snacks, giveaways and T-shirts for the children.
