MARGATE - Dozens of children and teens attended the Heart of Surfing event held Saturday, July 20 on the beach at Coolidge Avenue .
This event was overseen by the Margate City Beach Patrol, Margate City Fire Department, and Longport Beach Patrol.
Heart of Surfing is a non-profit organization that offers free surfing and skateboarding lessons for families with autism or other developmental disabilities.
