Joel B. Frankel Memorial Basketball Tournment
MARGATE - Members of the Margate community have united for an event honoring former Board of Education president, youth sports coach, member of the Margate Beach Patrol and beloved dentist Dr. Joel Frankel who passed away unexpectedly last July at age 43.

A 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 15 in the parking lot at the Sigmund Rimm Recreational Complex on Jerome Avenue.
Participants are invited to compete in High School, Sportsman and Open, Divisions. Men, women and co-ed teams are welcome.
The tournament will stress the importance of mental health and benefit mental health programs.
