Ventnor provides update on boardwalk repair project

VENTNOR - The city issued an update on the progress of the $14 million Boardwalk Rehabilitation Project currently undway on the boardwalk.

DeBlasio & Associates is leading the project, which is being funded through a grant from the New Jersey Boardwalk Preservation Fund. The project will replace 4,500 linear feet of the aging boardwalk between Jackson and Cambridge avenues.

The project includes:

  • Survey, design and construction management
  • Permitting
  • Installation of new pilings, substructure, decking and handrails
  • Reconnecting lighting, water fountains and pedestrian ramps


The project will enhance safety and accessiblity for pedestrians.
