GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP — The William J. Hughes Center for Public Policy at Stockton University and The Press of Atlantic City will co-sponsor an Oct. 24 debate between major-party candidates for the 2nd Congressional District race in the U.S. House of Representatives.
The one-hour debate between Republican incumbent Jeff Van Drew and Democratic challenger Joe Salerno will be held at 6 p.m. on the Galloway Township campus.
The debate will not have a live audience, but it will be livestreamed on the Hughes Center’s YouTube page and on The Press’ website.
Members of the public can submit potential questions for the candidates by going to the Hughes Center’s website or emailing The Press of Atlantic City at [email protected] and put “CD2 Questions” in the subject line.
Panelists Nicholas Huba, digital editor for The Press, and Alyssa Maurice, director of Research for the Hughes Center, will pose questions to the candidates.
