LONGPORT – With summer 2024 just a memory, it’s time to start daydreaming about the 2025 summer season.
The borough is accepting entries for its annual Beach Badge Design Contest for children ages 5-10 years old. The winners of the competition will have their artwork featured on the 2025 seasonal and senior citizen beach badges.
Children are invited to create a design reflecting all that’s great about spending lazy summers on the beach in Longport. Two winners will be selected based on design guidelines in the contest rules posted on the borough’s website.
The design should fit into the template provided with consideration given to the small size of the beach badge. Use two or three bright colors.
Submit the artwork by the deadline on Dec. 30. Late entries will not be accepted. Submit to Beach Tag Design Contest, 2305 Atlantic Ave., Longport, NJ 08403, or via email to [email protected].
Winners will be notified in the spring and recognized at a Board of Commissioners meeting.
