Two people were injured in a crash in Longport that resulted in the vehicle overturning.
Police were called to the intersection Winchester and North Evergreen avenues just before 5 p.m. Thursday.
The investigation revealed that the driver of a Mercedes Benz, Danielle Freda, approached the stop sign at North Evergreen, and as she pulled out slowly to see down Winchester Avenue, a collision occurred with a BMW SUV traveling east toward Margate.
The collision caused the BMW SUV to strike a parked vehicle on Winchester Avenue and subsequently overturn.
The driver of the overturned vehicle, Caryl Haynes-Cogan, and passenger Dennis Cogan were transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus for treatment of their injuries. The condition of the individuals is currently unknown.
