Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City welcomes 3 new board members

ATLANTIC CITY - The Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City has announced the appointment of three new members to its board, bringing diverse expertise and a shared commitment to empowering local youth. 

Christine Cullen, Randy Szeg and John Happersett will contribute their extensive experience in finance, community service and casino management to further the club’s mission of fostering a safe and nurturing environment for young people in Atlantic City.

“We are thrilled to welcome Christine, Randy, and John to our Board of Trustees,” Boys & Girls Club CEO Tracey Triniwell said. “Each of them brings a wealth of professional expertise and a deep commitment to community service that perfectly aligns with our mission. Their passion for helping others, combined with their backgrounds in finance, youth programs, and community engagement, will undoubtedly enhance our ability to empower the next generation of leaders.”

Cullen is a dedicated community volunteer, actively involved in supporting various charitable causes. Alongside her career as a Financial Consultant with Wells Fargo Advisors, Cullen has contributed her time to organizations such as Family Promise of the Jersey Shore, NJ Tree Foundation, and A Need We Feed. Her work spans financial literacy for families in need, environmental conservation, and feeding local communities. Cullen’s dedication to service reflects her belief in the importance of uplifting others, whether through hands-on support or organizing efforts that bring lasting change.

    Randy Szeg
 
 


Szeg is an accomplished Vice President, Mortgage Sales Manager with OceanFirst Bank and brings nearly 20 years of lending experience to the board. He is also a proud board member of Cancer Support Community and East Greenwich Soccer Association. Szeg demonstrates a high level of community involvement with a passion to assist youth programs. He graduated from West Chester University in 2001 with a Degree in Business Management. While completing his education, he met his wife Melanie and has two children Shane and Kelly.

    John Happersett
 
 


Happersett is a seasoned casino management leader with over 30 years of experience in Marketing Operations, Cashiering, and Finance. As Casino Operations Controller at Tropicana Atlantic City, he manages the Casino Cage, Soft Count, and Casino Accounting, ensuring compliance with company policies and state regulations. Previously, he served as the Director of Marketing, Promotions & Entertainment at Bally’s Atlantic City, where he played a key role in enhancing the guest experience through strong leadership. Outside of work, he actively volunteers in his community, coaching intramural teams and supporting organizations like the Food Bank, Humane Society, Field of Dreams, the Salvation Army, and Habitat for Humanity.
