Stockton offers free naturalization, ESL, computer classes at AC campus

ATLANTIC CITY - Stockton University’s Center for Community Engagement and Service Learning offers a variety of free courses for community members at the John F. Scarpa Academic Building on the Stockton Atlantic City campus, 3711 Atlantic Ave.

For more than 12 years, the Stockton Center for Community Engagement and Service Learning has maintained a mutually beneficial relationship with the community through co-sponsoring programming and continued collaboration with community partners.  

These activities give members of the Stockton community – students, staff, faculty and alumni – an opportunity to have a positive impact on the communities in which they live, work and learn. 

Naturalization Classes: On Tuesdays from 6-7 p.m., SCCESL offers free, in-person naturalization classes in Room 316. Registration is not required to participate. 

English Learners Classes: On Wednesdays from 6-7 p.m., SCCESL holds a free English class in Room 216. Any community member is welcome to join the class to learn and practice English in a group setting. Registration is not required to attend.  

Learn to Use Computers and the Internet with Us: On Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to noon, participants can improve their skills in word processing, spreadsheet creation, responsible Internet information retrieval and exploring the world of smartphones and tablets in Computer Lab 217. Registration is not required to attend.
