The Ventnor City Police Department and Officer of Emergency Management has announced that the Dorset Avenue bridge is impassable due to tidal flooding.
Also closed is Wellington Avenue.
Motorists are advised to find alternate routes and drive responsibly. Be courteous to residents who live on flooded roadways. Wakes created by passing vehicles enhances water damage to homes.
All motorists are advised to avoid driving through flooded areas and asked to abide by police detours and barricades, which are in place for the safety of all.

Traffic should be returned to normal after about two hours.
Minor to moderate flooding is expected to continue during hight tide periods through Sunday.
