VENTNOR – Tickets are available for the city’s fifth annual Mangia, Mangia! pasta dinner being held Sept. 28 under a tent set up in the middle of Monmouth Avenue in the Ventnor Heights section. Raindate is Oct. 5.
The event is a way for the community to celebrate good times, good food and good company.
The Sunday supper is hosted by Red Room Café and includes an antipasto of olives, cheese and roasted red peppers, salad, bread, spaghetti and meatballs and dessert.
Seating begins at 1:30 p.m. with supper served at the community table at 2 p.m. Participants are invited to BYOB.
A special feature of the event is singer Vic Rubino who will sing the Great American Songbook, including Dean Martin’s “That’s Amore!” which causes the crowd to burst out in a singalong. There will also be dancing in the street.
A limited number of tickets are available at $45 per adult, $20 per child 12 & under
