MAYS LANDING - The Atlantic County Division of Parks will kick-off the Labor Day weekend with a free concert in the park featuring pianist Shaina Faith 5-7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29 at Lake Lenape Park East, 753 Park Road.
Faith will perform pop, modern and original songs. Bring your own chairs, blankets and picnic baskets. No alcoholic beverages permitted.
In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be rescheduled.
Enjoy a back-to-school luau party, 12-2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7 under the yellow pavilion in Picnic Area 1 at Estell Manor Park, 109 Route 50 South. The luau will include themed games and crafts. The event is free and includes supplies while they last, but registration is required at: www.atlanticcountynj.gov/parks.
