A Hammonton man was killed in a crash on the Atlantic City Expressway on Thursday night.
State Police were called to milepost 17.6 westbound in Egg Harbor Township just before 8 p.m., Trooper Christopher Postorino said.
John Warlow, 36, was driving a Ford sport utility vehicle west on the expressway, he struck the toll booth at the Egg Harbor toll plaza, according to the preliminary investigation.
The vehicle became engulfed in flames.
Warlow sustained fatal injuries, Postorino said.
The crash is under investigation, and no additional information was available.
