PEASANTVILLE - Pet owners are strongly encouraged to protect their pets from the potentially fatal disease of rabies. Not only will having your pets immunized against rabies protect your pets, but its will also protect the humans who care for them.
The Atlantic County Animal Shelter will hold a free rabies clinic for cats and dogs 9 a.m. to noon Sunday, Dec. 1 at the shelter, 240 Old Turnpike Road in Pleasantville.
Dogs must be on leashes and cats in carriers. Owners are encouraged to bring their pet’s previous vaccination records at the time of their appointment.
To make an appointment, call the shelter at 609-485-2345. Arrive on time and those who are tardy may be asked to reschedule.
