Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” Progressive Porch Performance presented by the Riddlesbrood Players, on four different porches at the corner of Troy and Monmouth avenues, 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 27. The event is free to the public. Holiday music, lavish costumes of 19th century characters, humor, holiday beverages and snacks.
Polar Plunge & Winter Festival 12-4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026. Winter Festival at St. James Hall, Newport and Atlantic avenues, starts at noon. Polar Plunge on the Newport Avenue beach at 1 p.m. Includes food, music, games and a chili cookoff. Sponsored by the Ventnor Business Association. Polar Plunge swag available for purchase.
Margate
10th Annual Winter Wonderland Toy Drive Event, Sigmund Rimm Recreation Complex, parking lot off Huntington Avenue, Margate, 6-8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 12. Train rides, food, vendors, live music, dance presentations, arts and crafts, photos with Santa, games and more. Sponsored by the Ventnor, Margate and Longport public safety groups. Bring an unwrapped toy for distribution by the Atlantic County Toys for Kids program during the holidays and throughout the year.
Community Chanukkah Celebration, 2-4:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14 at the Katz JCC 501 N. Jerome Ave. Celebrate the Festival of Lights with family and friends. Sweet treats and family fun with donuts, face painting, crafts, songs, dreidel dash and menorah lighting. The event if free to the public.
Margate's Got Talent Holiday show, 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18 at the Dominick A. Potena Performing Arts Center. Doors open 6:30 p.m. Performances must be registered with Debbie Roland, [email protected]. Tickets are $10 at the door. Proceeds benefit Tighe Theater program.

Build a Giant Menorah with Building Blocks Worshops LLC, 3:30-6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13 at Beth Israel, 2501 Shore Road, Northfield. Chanukkah celebrationb features building a 12-foot tall menorah made from 10,000 LEGO bricks. Sing-along, grazing table, dreidel games. Enjoy salad, latke and donut bars at 5:30 p.m.
