Below are the updated road work plans as of Dec. 10.
A detour will be in effect on North Main Street between East Mulberry and East Reading avenues from 7:30 a.m. through 5 p.m. Thursday, weather permitting for work by NJ American Water Co.
A single lane, alternating traffic pattern will be in effect along 14th Street at the Penny Pot crossing, between Blue Anchor Road and North Second Road from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, weather permitting.
Motorists should follow the posted work zone signs and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route. Traffic directors will be on site to assist.
Zion Road will be closed between Shore Road and Wabash Avenue from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday.

The northbound lane of Shore Road will be closed between Goll and New Jersey avenues from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday. The southbound lane will remain open.
