MARGATE - The city held its 10th annual Winter Wonderland Toy Drive Event Friday, Dec. 12 at the Sigmund Rimm Recreation Complex. Families arrived with gifts in hand to ensure children in the region have a very merry holiday season.
The event offered train rides, vendors, food trucks, smores, live music and dance numbers, arts and crafts, games, blow-ups, and the opportunity to visit with Santa Claus.
The event is sponsored by the Ventnor, Margate and Longport police and fire departments.
The highlight of the event is the toy drive collection which allows the Atlantic County Toys for Kids program to provide provide toys for children in need not only at Christmas time, but throughout the year.
