Below are the updated road work plans as of Dec. 17.
Shore Road between Mt. Vernon and Northfield avenues will have a detour from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.,for work by the city.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route. Police and traffic directors will be on site to assist.
The northbound lane of Shore Road will be closed between Goll and New Jersey avenues from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday. The southbound lane will remain open.
