MARGATE – Deanna Krupp has more than two decades of experience working in court administration. On Wednesday, Dec. 17, she took the oath of office to serve as the city’s municipal court administrator.
Commissioner of Public Safety Cathy Horn administered the oath of office while Robbie Nowrocki held the Bible.
Krupp, who has been serving as deputy court administrator, will replace Court Administrator Maureen Larkin who is retiring.
According to her professional profile, Krupp brings extensive experience to the role, including acting as administrator when required and for shared services agreements with other municipalities. Margate currently provides court services for the Borough of Longport in a shared services agreement.
She has experience in budgeting, bail reconciliation, general accounts, monitoring backlogs, preparing statistical reports and more.
She has served as president of the South Jersey Court Administrators Association and past president of the Atlantic County Court Administrators Association.
Commissioner of Finance Maury Blumberg noted that because of her longtime experience as an administrator in the Margate court system, the city "would be in great shape" for years to come.
