MARGATE – The Board of Commissioners will hold a public information session about the impact of two recently adopted bond ordinances at its first meeting of the new year.
City auditor Leon Costello will present information about the impact of bonding $16.4 million in general capital and utility projects, including $10.5 million to build a new 12,700-square-foot Public Works facility on Benson and Monmouth avenues.
Costello will discuss the impact bonding will have on the city’s upcoming municipal budget.
The meeting will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026, at Historic City Hall, 1 S. Washinton Ave. For more information, see margate-nj.com.
