ATLANTIC CITY - Hundreds of guests had a chance to sample heirloom recipes and gourmet creations from the area’s best local chefs and most talented amateur chefs Wednesday evening during the Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City's annual major fundraiser, Let's Get Cooking. The event was held at Island Water Park at Showboat Atlantic City which offered the backdrop for decorated tables filled with tasty offerings.
Amateur and professional chefs shared their creations in a festive setting and all were anxious to explain how they created their dishes and the ingredients that made them not only tasty but also beautifully prepared and served. The recipes were judged on a variety of criteria in professional and amateur categories such as taste and preparation.
Many of the B&GCAC supporters took a chance to win raffle baskets to support the cause.
Proceeds from Let’s Get Cookin’ 2025 will help the organization sustain and expand programs benefiting Atlantic City youths and teens.
