SOMERS POINT - Shore Medical Center and the Cape Atlantic Coalition for Health are once again offering the free six-week workshop, "Cancer: Thriving & Surviving," designed for cancer patients, survivors and caregivers. The empowering program will take place at Shore Cancer Center 4:30-7 p.m. every Tuesday beginning Jan, 28 and concluding March 4. Shore Cancer Center is located across from Shore Medical Center at the corner of Medical Center Way and Shore Road.
Developed by Stanford University, the workshop equips participant, whether newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment or living beyond cancer, with practical skills and confidence to manage their health and maintain an active, fulfilling life. Sessions are interactive and encourage mutual support among participants.

The workshop is open to anyone navigating the challenges of a cancer diagnosis, as well as caregivers who play a vital support role. Participants will also receive a complimentary copy of "Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions," a valuable resource for continued support after the workshop ends.
