Longport honors Beach Tag Contest winners

LONGPORT - Two budding young artists were honored Wednesday when the Board of Commissioners presented them with certificates certifiying them as winners of the 2025 Beach Tag contest.

Youngsters were challenged to submit designs for this year's beach tags. The winners were selected anonymously by a committee comprised of borough employees.

Maeve Wynne won the Seasonal beach tag design, which depicted a row of surfboards.

"I just love surfing," Maeve said.

    Henry White created the senior beach tag design.
 
 

Henry White designed the Senior beach tag, which included a colorful beach scene.

They were presented with certificates, a free beach tag and a desktop version of Longport's iconic smiley-faced water tower.
