GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP - The Mosaic Foundation has introduced a new series of free, downloadable caregiver guides aimed at helping families who are caring for aging loved ones, including those living with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
Available now at MosaicGiving.org/Caregiver-Guides, the guides offer friendly, accessible advice to meet caregivers where they are, whether they’re planning a family gathering or managing daily care. Topics include taking a vacation while caregiving, celebrating birthdays in meaningful ways, supporting better nutrition, staying active with loved ones, and navigating the holidays. Each guide includes practical tips and easy to follow suggestions to help caregivers approach their role with greater confidence and compassion.
“These guides are deeply personal for me,” Director of Philanthropy Erin Luurtsema said. “My father has vascular dementia, and my family is walking this journey right now. I know how overwhelming caregiving can feel and how important it is to have tools that are both practical and encouraging. These guides are our way of saying: You’re not alone, and there is help.”
