ATLANTIC CITY - Nearly 575 guests gathered at the Golden Nugget on June 5 for the 30th annual Women’s Forum, which featured acclaimed entrepreneur, television personality, New York Times best-selling author, and philanthropist Bethenny Frankel. The event raised $175,000 to benefit charities throughout the Atlantic County region.
Guests enjoyed a delicious lunch and the opportunity to bid on 150 exciting auction items including dining certificates, designer handbags, chic jewelry, electronics, hotel stays, spa and salon experiences, shopping gift cards, golf packages, and more.
Well known for her role as an original cast member of the "Real Housewives of New York City" and her spin-off series, "Bethenny Ever After," Frankel captivated attendees with an engaging conversation about her journey from reality television to becoming a powerhouse businesswoman and founder of the Skinnygirl brand.
“We were thrilled to welcome Bethenny Frankel as this year’s remarkable speaker at our final Women’s Forum,” event Co-chair Brett Matik said. “Over the past 30 years, this program has featured fascinating, informative, and candid speakers while raising more than $2.5 million to support local nonprofits. As we close the chapter on this fundraising tradition, we are incredibly proud of the impact we’ve made in our community.”
The Women’s Forum was made possible by the support of its generous community and business sponsors Anheuser-Busch, AtlantiCare, F.C. Kerbeck, Golden Nugget Atlantic City, Harrison Beverage, Harrison Family Foundation, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, Law Offices of Melissa Rosenblum, and Walmart. As a completely volunteer committee, 100% of the proceeds are donated directly to local charities.
