MARGATE - Jewish Family Service of Atlantic and Cape May Counties recently announced the appointment of Nancy Mitnick to the position of volunteer services supervisor.
With more than 20 years of customer service, management and sales experience, Mitnick will recruit, train and oversee volunteers for key agency services and programs, such as the pantry, Kosher meal deliveries, food collections, Lynn Kramer Village by the Shore, and fundraising including the Golf Tournament, House Tour, and Card Party.
Mitnick will also supervise the Retired Senior Volunteer Program which engages volunteers over age 55+ in meaningful opportunities with the agency.
"Nancy recognizes the invaluable role volunteers play in strengthening both JFS and the community. She understands the profound impact of their generosity and the difference their time and dedication make," Associate Director of Communications & Donor Relations Julia Tracy said.
Before joining JFS, Mitnick served as the customer service manager and director of special projects for Island Beach Gear/eOutdoors, Inc. in South Jersey. She also brings expertise in benefits, real estate and government liaison roles. In addition, she has extensive volunteer experience with organizations including the Linwood PTO, Mainland Baseball, and Congregation Beth Israel.
Mitnick graduated from Boston University with a BA in International Relations.
