MARGATE – Residents and visitors are preparing for something special this summer when they welcome the Marina Special District’s newest happy place where good food and drinks come along with dazzling sunsets.
Tideline will open at the site of the former Capt. Andy’s Marina, 9317 Amherst Ave., offering a casual menu and creative cocktails in a relaxed bayfront atmosphere.
Tideline is the latest venture from the Tomatoes Restaurant Group, known for its innovative shore dining concepts such as the ever-popular Tomatoes and The Lot, and years of planning by their friends Sean and Jaime Gormley of Margate.
The joint venture offers a new dining experience, featuring indoor and outdoor seating, two bars, a spacious event area, and the most spectacular sunset views on the island. Guests can arrive by land or sea, and in shorts and flip-flops.
The 8,000 square-foot space will accommodate everything from intimate dinners to large gatherings. With an event space designed to make the most of those sunset views, it’s the perfect spot to celebrate life’s special moments.
Finishing touches are still being put on the newly constructed building in the city’s active marina business district.
