Cannabis consumption lounges topic of discussion, March 20

ATLANTIC CITY - The future of cannabis consumption lounges in New Jersey as tourist attractions is the topic of a panel discussion sponsored by Stockton University at an Atlantic City cannabis dispensary at noon Thursday, March 20. 

Rob Mejia, a teaching specialist in Cannabis Studies at Stockton, will moderate “Destination Cannabis: Consumption Lounges, N.J.’s Next Big Attraction” at High Rollers Dispensary, 120 S. Indiana Ave. The seminar will also be broadcast live via Zoom.

The panelists include:

    Spencer Belz, the COO of SunnyTien Dispensary in Atlantic City

    Smrita M. Choubey, founder and CEO of Veda Warrior, a wellness company that makes science-based herbal remedies.

    Jon Cohn, the founder and CEO of Agri-Kind Brands and the CEO of High Rollers Dispensary in Atlantic City

Following the discussion, the panelists will take questions from the audience. 

The event is sponsored by the Lloyd D. Levenson Institute of Gaming, Hospitality and Tourism in Stockton’s School of Business and the Cannabis and Hemp Research Initiative at Stockton. 

Stockton was the first school in New Jersey to offer an undergraduate degree in cannabis studies when the School of Business debuted the Bachelor of Science in Hemp and Cannabis Business Management in the fall of 2024.
