Atlantic County is offering a special funding initiative for new or emerging non-profit organizations and those that may only require a small amount of funding for history-related projects or professional development.
The initiative is a pilot program offered through the Atlantic County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs to serve as an introduction to the County History Partnership Program grant program.
Priority will be given to first-time applicants and those who are not currently receiving grant funding from the Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs. Requests will be accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year with a simplified process from request to award.
A total of $10,000 is available for grant amounts between $500 and $1,000.
Guidelines and the application are available online for download at: http://www.atlanticcountynj.gov/government/county-departments/department-of-executive-and-administrator/office-of-cultural-and-heritage-affairs/arts-and-history-grant-information.
