VENTNOR – The Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation has announced the return of its premier fundraising event, The Paddle For A Cause. The event will be held Saturday, June 7 at Ski Beach, Dorset Avenue at the bay. The event invites paddlers of all skill levels to test their endurance while raising funds for families affected by cancer.
Paddle For A Cause features a 22.5-mile paddleboard race around Absecon Island, drawing elite athletes, recreational paddlers and ocean enthusiasts alike. Shorter paddle options will also be available for those looking to participate in a less demanding course while still supporting the cause.
More than just a race, The Paddle For A Cause is a day of community, fun, and giving back. Even if you’re not hitting the water, there’s plenty to enjoy, including live music, food trucks, giveaways and more. It’s the perfect way to support a great cause while enjoying the beautiful Jersey Shore.
Founded in 2001, the Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to providing financial assistance and support to individuals and families affected by cancer. Paddle For A Cause serves as its major fundraiser, ensuring that those battling the disease get the help they need. This year’s event is being sponsored by DeSatnick Real Estate.
