MARGATE - Christa Voltaggio was hoping to become a part-time Special Law Enforcement Officer in the Margate City Police Department. But with the recent retirement of a longtime police officer, Voltaggio, who is currently attending Atlantic County Police Academy training, was elevated to a full-time officer.
Commissioner of Public Safety Cathy Horn administered the oath of office during the Board of Commissioners meeting May 15.
“We expect a good future for Christa in our police department,” Police Chief Matthew Hankinson said.
