The Green Bay Packers initiated a plan to ban the play this offseason and were steadfast on getting rid of it. However, the Eagles' lobbying efforts managed to convince nine other teams in voting against the proposed ban:
Earlier this morning, Russini also reported that Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie addressed his fellow owners, where he "emphasized the need to clean up the process, not the play itself."NFL needed 24 votes today to ban the Tush Push, but got only 22.
