VENTNOR - Effective immediately, the Dorset Avenue bridge will remain in the down position until further notice to address control issues.
Motorists may continue to use the bridge; however, boats that normally require the bridge to be in the up/open position to pass through, will be unable to do so until further notice.
Atlantic County is working with contractors to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
