Latest Atlantic County road work for the week of Nov. 4.
Lane closures are expected on the Route 30 drawbridge over Absecon Inlet from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for scheduled preventative maintenance work by the N.J. Department of Transportation. One lane in each direction will remain open at all times.
Motorists are advised to reduce speed, exercise caution and anticipate potential delays in the work area. The schedule may be adjusted based on weather conditions or other unexpected events.
A single lane, alternating traffic pattern will be in effect on California Avenue in Absecon between Fire Road in Egg Harbor Township and Main Street in Pleasantville from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through Nov. 14, weather permitting.
Motorists should follow the posted work zone signs and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route. Traffic directors will be on site to assist.
