GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP - A recently formed arts guild is inviting knitters, crocheters and crafters to join the Jersey Shore Fiber Arts Guild.
The guild will present “The Health Benefits & Rewards of Fiber Arts” 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16 in the parish halll at the Church of St Mark and All Saints, 429 Pitney Rd.
The guild is open to all knitters, crocheters, weavers, spinners, sewists and more, and is designed to introduce members to new techniques, charity projects and social activities. There is no charge, and all are welcome.
The meeting includes presentations on “Getting the most from Ravelry,” free beginning knitting and crochet lessons, and a crafter’s marketplace for members to swap or sell materials and tools.
