Traffic advisories are in effect for two sections of Shore Road next week.
Motorists are advise to plan longer travel times or seek alternate routes as traffic detours will be in effect to accommodate work by the City of Somers Point and NJ American Water Company.
- Shore Road in Linwood will be closed from Ocean Heights Avenue to Frances Avenue 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, Oct. 20-24. weather permitting, for utility work. Police will be on site to assist with detours.
- Also, Shore Road in Somers Point a lane shift and alternating lane traffic pattern will be in effect between Delaware Avenue and New York Avenue 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20 through Friday Oct. 24, weather permitting for municipal utility work.
