GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP – The Arc of Atlantic County recently announced its annual Golf Classic, presented by I. Rice & Company, Inc., raised an unprecedented $150,000 in support of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Held Oct. 9 at Galloway National Golf Club, this year’s event marked the largest amount ever raised since its inception.
The tournament directly benefits The Arc’s essential programs and services, including intensive case management, employment support, and recreational opportunities for more than 1,000 individuals across South Jersey.
The day featured 18 holes in a scramble format, along with on course contests, 50/50 raffle, silent auction and a post-tournament awards luncheon at the Galloway National clubhouse.
“We are absolutely thrilled with the incredible success of this year’s Golf Classic,” said Scott Hennis, CEO of The Arc of Atlantic County. “To raise $150,000 – the most in the tournament’s history – is a true testament to the generosity and commitment of our presenting sponsor, I. Rice & Company, our sponsors, golfers and volunteers. Their support fuels our mission and ensures that we can continue to provide life changing programs and services to individuals and families in our community. We couldn’t be more grateful.”
