ATLANTIC CITY - The Public Relations Council of Greater Atlantic City will host its fall kickoff meeting, “Redevelopment, Resurgence, & Renaissance of AC with Bart Blatstein,” 11:45 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Island Waterpark at Showboat.
The Showboat owner will talk about his newfound vision for the property, its continued expansion, the purposeful role of marketing, lessons in real estate and development and other topics.
Blatstein acquired and opened Showboat solely as a resort in 2016. Since he’s been at the helm, Blatstein and his team have transformed the property into a family friendly venue that includes Island Waterpark; Lucky Snake Arcade, the East Coast’s largest arcade; go-karting; various dining options; and more than 800 rooms and suites.
The luncheon is open to the public and runs from 11:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. and will be held in Paradise Island adults section. Cost is $45 for members and $60 for non-members with a reservation. Walk-ins are charged an additional $5. Parking, excluding valet parking, is free. Reservation deadline is 4 p.m., Monday, Sept. 29.
