LINWOOD - In recognition of Autism Acceptance Month, the PR Council of Greater Atlantic City will present Sherri Richmond and Brian Cahill of Shore Medical Center at their Tuesday, April 28, luncheon. The lunch, open to the public, runs 11:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. at Linwood Country Club.
The speakers will showcase how Shore Medical Center is advancing compassionate, inclusive care for neurodiverse members of the community across multiple points of care. The event will also highlight public relations with a purpose and building sensory care through community connection. The PR component will emphasize community collaboration, media outreach, as well as a few public relations and marketing tips.
Richmond, administrative director of the Emergency Department, Pediatrics, and Respiratory Services, and Cahill, administrative director of Marketing and Public Relations, will discuss Shore’s Sensory Care Programs. These include initiatives in the Emergency Department, outpatient testing areas, and a new sensory-focused respiratory care program launching this month.
At the end of the presentation, attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions about public relations and marketing, autism and the neurodiverse community, and Shore’s programs.
Cost for the luncheon is $45 for members and $60 for non-members with a reservation. Walk-ins are charged an additional $5. Reservation deadline is Friday, April 24.
