All three Downbeach communities are selling beach tags at pre-season rates until Memorial Day. All towns require tags for all individuals 12 and older, from Memorial Day to Labor Day and offer several convenient ways to purchase tags.
Longport
The borough congratulates Kai Bridgeford and Camila Moura for designing this year’s Longport beach tags, which are on sale at reduced rates until June 1. Kai designed the seasonal tag, while Camila designed the senior tag.
Beach tags can be purchased with cash or check 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Clerk’s Office at Borough Hall, 2305 Atlantic Ave., or using the mail-in form posted at https://www.longportnj.gov/_Content/pdf/forms/PRESEASON-BEACH-TAG-FORM-2026.pdf
Tags can also be purchased online using a credit card at https://www.jerseycapetags.com/ Physical tags will be mailed to your home.
Seasonal tags are $25 and Senior tags are $15 until June 1. After June 1, the cost increases to $40 for seasonal tags and $20 for senior tags. Active military tags are available at no cost with proper identification.

Margate
Preseason tags are available for purchase in-person 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Martin Bloom Pavilion, Granville Avenue at the beach.
Seasonal tags are $10 and senior tag are $3.50 until May 31. Starting June 1, the cost increases to $20 for all tags. Free seasonal tags are available for active military and their spouses and veterans with proper identification.
Tags can also be ordered online with a credit card at www.JerseyCapeTags.com and mailed to your home.
Beach tags can also be reserved up until May 31 using the mail-in form, paid via check or money order, and picked up at Margate Municipal Building, 9001 Winchester Ave., during business hours. See View/Download 2026 Beach Badge Order Form

Ventnor
Ventnor beach tags can be purchased during business hours, Monday through Friday, using cash, check or credit card at the City Clerk’s Office at Ventnor City Hall, 6201 Atlantic Ave.
Pre-season rates for seasonal tags are $10 before June 1 and $3.50 for seniors. After May 31, the cost increases to $20 for all tags.
Tags can also be purchased online using a credit card at https://www.jerseycapetags.com/ Physical tags can be picked up at Ventnor City Hall or mailed to your home.
