ATLANTIC CITY - Let’s Get Cookin’, a gourmet celebration and culinary competition benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City will celebrate its 20th anniversary, 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 13 at Island Water Park at Showboat Resort.
This year’s event marks a special milestone, celebrating two decades of Feeding Great Futures for Atlantic City youth.
Guests will enjoy an evening of inspired flavors, sampling heirloom recipes and gourmet creations prepared by some of the area’s best local chefs alongside talented amateur competitors. Dishes will be judged on a variety of culinary criteria, and attendees will receive a digital recipe book as a keepsake of the anniversary event. The evening will also feature raffle baskets and auction items, with all proceeds supporting the Club’s mission.
Let’s Get Cookin’ 2026 will honor longtime event champions the Coppola Family and Kenneth J. Calemmo, Jr. Honorary co-chairmen include Assemblyman Don Guardian, an early supporter of the event, and Diane McKoy, who was instrumental in bringing Let’s Get Cookin,' then called Men Are Cookin,' to life 20 years ago.
“For two decades, Let’s Get Cookin’ has played a vital role in sustaining and expanding ACBGC programs,” BGCAC CEO Tracey Triniwell said. “Proceeds from the event directly support initiatives that provide a safe, welcoming environment where young people can learn, grow, and thrive — truly feeding great futures for the next generation.”
