The Atlantic City Community Fund will host the Atlantic City Nonprofit Summit 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27 in the Fannie Lou Hamer Event Room in the Scarpa Academic Building at Stockton University’s Atlantic City campus.
There will be more than 100 nonprofits actively working in Atlantic City with a variety of missions from social services to the arts, education to recreation. The summit is designed to bring these groups together to share ideas and provide information and support.
The Atlantic City Community Fund was established on the belief that lasting community change begins with local engagement and collective giving. The Atlantic City Community Fund is committed to addressing local challenges through active community involvement and philanthropy, empowering residents and partners to build a stronger, more resilient Atlantic City for both present and future generations.
The ACCF has awarded more than $450,000 in grants to build nonprofit capacity in Atlantic City. ACCF grants support a variety of nonprofit organizations and initiatives ranging from youth activities, anti-poverty, nutrition, social services, health and wellness, arts and culture, beautification and education.
