Atlantic County Republicans held their annual convention Saturday, Feb. 21 at The Carriage House in Galloway Township.
During the convention the party honored former Assemblywoman Claire Swift with the 2026 Republican of the Year and Seashell awards.
Also, during the convention, the party endorsed its candidates in the November General Election. All Republican incumbents were selected to run in the election, including:
John Risley of Egg Harbor Township for Atlantic County Commissioner at Large
June Byrnes of Linwood for Atlantic County Commissioner at Large
Andrew Parker of Egg Harbor Township for Commissioner District 3
Joe Giralo for Atlantic County Clerk
“Tokyo” Joe O’Donoghue for Atlantic County Sheriff
