MAYS LANDING — The deadline is quickly approaching to nominate a deserving individual for the Atlantic Cape Community College Alumni Association’s 2026 President’s Distinguished Alumni Award, Young Alumni Achievement Award (40 years of age and younger) and Community Service Award.
The awards recognize Atlantic Cape graduates who have distinguished themselves through a combination of professional, academic and community-based accomplishments. Candidates will be asked to describe ways in which they have maintained and strengthened their commitment to supporting Atlantic Cape, its mission and its students. To be eligible, candidates must have earned a degree or certificate from Atlantic Cape or the Academy of Culinary Arts.
Established in 2010, the prestigious Distinguished Alumni Award demonstrates Atlantic Cape’s dedication to strengthening its alumni relations. To date, 54 Atlantic Cape graduates have received this award. This year’s recipients will be honored during a special awards dinner at Carême’s on Wednesday, April 1 and will also be recognized during the college's Commencement Ceremony 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 22, at Ocean Casino Resort’s Ovation Hall.
Nominations will be accepted through Sunday, Feb. 1. Nominations received after the deadline will be considered for next year’s group of nominees.
