Atlantic City High School's suspended principal for a big welcome back Tuesday.
Constance Days-Chapman returned more than a week after the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office moved to dismiss the indictments against her and Superintendent Dr. La'Quetta Small.
Both were charged in connection with abuse allegations against Small and her husband, Mayor Marty Small.
The mayor's acquittal at trial led to the move .
But Tuesday was about the students welcoming back their schools leader.
The principal walked into the school to music, cheers and confetti as seniors gathered to celebrate.

Days-Chapman wiped tears from her eyes as she hugged staff, students and family who gathered to surprise her.
The sign welcoming her indicated Dr. Constance Days-Chapman, reflecting the degree she earned while on suspension.
“I used this time wisely, and I look forward to applying what I’ve learned to the future work at Atlantic City High School,” Days-Chapman said. “I am deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers I have received over the last nearly two years.”
Mayor Small arrived at the school with his son to be part of the welcome back celebration. Superintendent Small arrived with the principal.
“We’re excited about her return to the high school,” the superintendent said. “We look forward to her continued leadership.”
