The spring 2026 “Growing and Flowing” nature series is on the agenda 10 a.m. to noon Tuesdays, March 24 through May 26 at the Marjorie and Lewis Katz JCC, 501 N. Jerome Ave.
The series allows participants to get outside, take a walk and participate in hands-on activities that focus on nature. Sessions meet at various locations throughout Atlantic County and include activities such as journaling, drawing or collecting items found along the way.

March 24 – Noticing Nature and Nature Journaling at Birch Grove Park, Northfield
March 31 – Spring Phenology: Signs of the Season at Estell Manor Park, Mays Landing
April 7 – Weather or Not at Heritage Park, Absecon
April 14 – Getting Down Under Ground at Egg Harbor Township Nature Preserve
April 21 – In the Zone: From One Ecosystem to Another at Great Egg Harbor Trailhead, Somers Point
April 28 – Rock Stacking: Focusing on the Balance of Nature at Longport Point
May 5 – Waterways and Watersheds at Weymouth Furnace, Mays Landing, Township of Hamilton
May 12 – Estuary Study Part 1: Rivers to Bays at John F. Kennedy Park, Somers Point
May 19 – Estuary Study Part 2: Bays to Oceans at Malibu Beach Wildlife Management Area, Longport
May 26 – Lifestyles of the Wet and Tidal: Plankton to Nekton, William Morrow Beach Somers Point
