An Egg Harbor Township teen missing since Friday afternoon has been found safe.
Joel Medina, 17, walked away from his home around 3 p.m. Friday in the area of Fourth Avenue behind the Shore Mall off of West Jersey Avenue.
The news led to a large search that included drones and FLIR thermal cameras.
Residents came together to help as the search surpassed 24 hours.
The teen was found safe and in good condition, and reunited with his family, police said at 1:30 a.m.
