Egg Harbor Township fire companies battled a rooftop blaze at the ShopRite on Saturday.
Members from the Cardiff and Bargaintown Volunteer Fire companies were called to the English Creek Avenue store at about 4:10 p.m., for reports of heavy black smoke and flames coming from the roof.
Cardiff Chief Bill Danz III took command of the scene and called for additional firefighters.
Teams from Cardiff, Bargaintown, Pleasantville and Atlantic City International Airport arrived to solar panels involved in a rooftop fire.
Crews worked for about two hours to extinguish the blaze. No injuries were reported.
The fire was investigated by the EHT Fire Investigations Bureau.
Firefighters were supported on the scene by township police and the EHT rescue squad.
ShopRite was closed Sunday due to electrical issues as a result. It was not clear when they would reopen.
Township firefighters has tpw other calls during the fire.
One was a vehicle fire and the other was a brush fire.
